IS MY PRACTICE POLITICAL? # 3

ZOOM - ONLINE CONVERSATION

ZOOM link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/2234668776

For this next coffee session, we’re inviting Politics to the table. Keeping the conversation open and led by your interactions, we’re curious to discuss if/when we consider our artistic practices as political. This question can open the door to many different topics: the politics of the body, art and activism, political statements within artistic product or process, the spaces in which art is shared and experienced, the communities that have access to it and are created by it. As individual artists, what do you define as political? How do you engage with the political in your work, if at all? Would you define your practice as one that is politically engaged, and why? Where do you draw the line between art and activism? Has the COVID crisis changed this for you in some way?

OUR ONLINE CLASSES

Aware of the sanitary, economic and social crisis we are going through, the PinkHouse team is mobilising itself to find creative solutions to raise funds for the 2021 edition.

Alongside the artists of the past edition, we decided to offer online classes through Zoom, open and adapted to all, on the basis of donations during the months of November and December.

We suggest 6€ per lesson and per person and will offer classes of 1 hour, in French or English depending on the languages spoken by the teacher.

You will find the Zoom link to the class on the timetable page.

To stay informed of the timetable, you will find weekly updated information on our social networks or on this site.

All the donations collected will go to the general crowdfunding of MicroMacro association for the 2021 edition. This crowdfunding will be launched at the end of the year on the Helloasso platform.

We can't wait to meet you online and share moments (for the moment virtual) and our passion for movement!
